A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL HILL

Thank you for your interest in Park Ridge Academic Magnet School. I am thrilled to be entering my tenth year as principal at PRAMS. It is my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you as we embark on the 2020-2021 school year.  I believe in the adage “It takes a village to raise a child.” Faculty, staff, parents, and community members all play a role in molding our youth to become productive citizens of this ever-changing world.  

Parents enroll their children in grades K-8 at Park Ridge, because we have a unique, safe, and nurturing environment, which promotes a positive learning environment and growth mindset. We strive to increase rigor and engagement through creative and innovative methods of instruction by encouraging students to think in new and interesting ways. Our selective admission requirements target the district’s best!   

It is our goal to nurture academic, social, and emotional needs of our students. We continue to make improvements to fit the needs of all students by providing them with quality instruction, exceptional educational opportunities to prepare students for college and career readiness, and multiple avenues to support the arts.
